Columbia University in the City of New York welcomes applications for the Jean-Paul Fitoussi Scholars Program, an early-career fellowship for faculty members at Columbia University, Sciences Po or LUISS "Guido Carli" University, who are nominated for support by Columbia faculty.
The fellowships will provide partial support in periods ranging from three to twelve months. The support can be applied towards salary and some travel and research expenses. Prioritization will be given to candidates whose work emphasizes important, difficult, or often neglected questions or a clear research agenda (rather than technique or methodology).
The annual application window is open for three months, between December 1 and February 1. All complete applications received in this time frame will be reviewed by a committee of Columbia faculty. Selections and notifications to Scholars will occur promptly. Proposed arrival times will be considered with flexibility.
Interested applicants should submit a current CV and a letter of nomination from a faculty member appointed to Columbia's departments of Economics, Political Science, or Philosophy. These materials should be sent to socialsciencedean@columbia.edu with the subject "Application: Jean-Paul Fitoussi Scholars Program."
